About Next Home Furnishings

History:

The foundation of the Next Furnishings business was born in 1986 at the Ringwood market.

Business grew rapidly, and, in 1988 a store was opened at 1346 Toorak Road, Camberwell. The business flourished at this location for over 30 years. In February 2020, Next Furnishings moved over the road to a freshly renovated showroom located at 1351 Toorak Road, Camberwell.

The initial concept was for a curtain and upholstery fabric clearance shop which remains a vital part of the business today.

However, since the days of selling high-end fabric off-cuts at the market, the business has expanded into other specialist areas and now offers a full custom made products service for curtains, blinds, shutters, awnings and cushions.

Today, our custom made products are manufactured and assembled locally and where possible, we use Australian made technical components.
